David Choi Music: Michael Jackson – King of Pop

  • Jon Acord · 6 months ago
Michael can no longer defend himself, so I will try and be a friend to
him. I happen to know , documented fact that the stress tore the man
apart. You forget he won the 2nd trial. I can tell you I was falsely
accused of the same thing. My daughter was molested by two neighbors,
couldn't talk about it for years. She told my half sister's
grandchildren, they erroneously mistakenly thought she was referring
to me. I cried and told my sister I could never do anything to hurt a
child. But the damage to my reputation was done, so I understand.
Today they released private family photos of Michael smiling and
spending quality time with many children, boys and girls. They once
asked Michael why he spent time with children, he replied, 'they tell
me the truth'. Gee what motive could some parent have to sue him? 22
million reasons, cold cash. Again, it is documented fact that the lady
who sued him had previous fraudulent cases for suing businesses and
people. Michael, I believe, was and is 100% innocent. Wherever you
    are Michael I love you!

I don't know the extent of what you're feeling, but I was really disheartened when I heard the news. I was in a decent mood, I wasn't worried about much, I was jamming to some music, and then I went to check my mail on Yahoo. I realy couldn't believe it. I immediately started listening to his music and watching videos on YouTube. I can honestly say that Michael Jackson was a beautiful person. I saw a little glimpse of who he was watching and listening to everything.

Just because of the speculation surrounding him and the differences between us, he was criticized much too hard, and now that he's gone, I can even feel a little of what he must have felt from all of the terrible things that people, even now, after he's gone, continue to say.

I breaks my heart to know that there are people out there that seem to have no heart or feelings in the least. I'm sorry that you're gone Michael, you deserved so much more time and so much better. May you rest in peace!

I agree that the media stressed him out. And now that he's gone, hopefully they'll shut up about all the crap they brought up. Anyway, my family and I all believe that the cancer patient was a set-up. Maybe he viewed younger boys as his close friends because he never got a REAL childhood as a result of his early sudden fame.

Farrah Fawcett passed away today too.

    RIP both of their souls.

I agree people are cold hearted. It sucks to see any person die. Even if you can joke and laugh about it, the fact is that is 3 kids’ father. He is probably one of the most influential people in music ever. He has pioneered the pop genre for years upon years. Even the things he has done outside of his career by his humanitarian efforts make him a good person. He goes through the same things as everyone else in life. I feel that he is no different from myself and anyone around me, and to see people diss him and make false accusations sickens and angers me. Take a chance and listen the the messages his songs hold and the inspiration bestowed on the people of this generation and last generation. It is a sad day to anyone who has the slightest respect for music and humanity.

    Hey David,
I totallllly agree with you post.
Media ruins celebrities' lives, including mj's.
it's so sad.. I'm watching a documentary of him right now.
And I can just tell that he was such an amazing man. :(
I hope you don't let the media ruin you too.
    Because you're awesome !

Rest In Peace to Michael Jackson.
I was literally like :O when my sister opened the door and said "Michael Jackson died."
I quickly went to CNN and it said he was in a coma. I opened the tv and fox five news said he died.
    R.I.P.

I must admit I was one of the people in paragraph 3. Brainwashed and accepting..that part. But I got my facts straight.
  • Brittany · 6 months ago
When I first heard that Michael had passed away, I didn't believe it either. I sat and watched CNN for at least an hour before I finally believed that he had died. And I am so upset. Everyone else has already said it, but Michael Jackson was an amazing person. His music has been a huge part in so many peoples' lives and for the last several years of his life all he got to hear about was everyone talking crap about him. Personally, I love Michael Jackson and hearing people talk about how much they hate him and whatnot constantly pisses me off. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, right? I agree with David. It's not fair to him at all.

    RIP Michael Jackson.

    You write:

"Yes, I’m a hypocrite, but we all are. The thing that sets you apart is that you’re a person who tries not to be as opposed to a person that doesn’t care."

This reminds me of how I disdain jealousy and preach that it's a vile emotion.

This, however, doesn't mean I don't get jealous. Just means that when I do--I confront it as opposed to leaving it unchallenged.
  • David Choi · 6 months ago
I don't think there is ever a good time to be a hypocrite. However, I do think there is it OK and healthy to be jealous at times.

First of all, RIP Michael Jackson.

I never thought this would affect me this much but waking up to see this shocking news...I was really shocked and dumbfounded. I totally agree with you that its really sad that he left the world this way, with all the bad press and criticising.

And whats more sad is that, people finally realise the importance of him and suddenly remembered all those good acts he has done throughout his entire life.Thats just how I feel...peace.

Whats even more sad is that,soon...people will forget about this incident and continue with their life. Not implying that people shld stop their daily routines just because of this incident. But,after awhile,Im really afraid people would forget such a great singer, such a great legend.

    Hi David!

I started listening to Michael Jackson as a kid (wow that makes me sound old but I'm only 21)... his CD was the first CD I ever listened to non-stop. I remember jamming out to Man in the Mirror and Heal the World with my older sister... We knew all the words and would randomly start singing it in the car together.

His death really affected me because I'm someone who really loves music - it is my passion. Michael Jackson was really the first person to introduce me to the world of music (even if he didn't do it personally). I agree that the media manipulated the public's view of him. It is bad to assume ANYTHING about ANYONE... especially something as degrading as child molestation.

I refused to listen to TMZ. Gossip columns only care about being the first to get the news out. They don't care about people at all. I waited and hoped that the major news networks would prove TMZ wrong. But... yeah, well you know what happened.

    R.I.P. Michael Jackson, musical legend

    David,
Your sincerity and passion for Michael Jackson and his music is really strong. I feel the same way about what was going on with Michael's life and how the media has been treating him and his personal life. They blame, they gossip, they spread the words...but all Michael could ever do is sit and watch. Even though Michael is gone, he's never far away from where are. Just listen to the music he spend so many time on, and you'll see that he's always there for all his fans, family, and friends. Please, if you have the time, write me back...

  • Luvasiagal · 6 months ago
Yes, the media treated him cruely. Now they act like he was their long lost friend. It's great they are covering him a positive way now, but I agree that the lawsuits and the media troubles that went on congributed to his deterioration. It might be an Anna Nicole thing. He could have been taking drugs to stay awake and drugs to go to sleep. Eventually you wear out. We will find out the truth once the autopsy is complete. They said his doctor visited him last night and he was not feeling well. Too bad they didn't get him to the hospital last night. It was too late by the time the doctor arrived at his house today.
  • Jon Acord · 6 months ago
I agree with everything you said David. I know MJ was under appreciated, 'you don't miss the water till the well runs dry'. Your tribute video 'Ben' was heart wrenching, hauntingly beautiful. Michael would've loved it. You are definitely talented, Thank you so much for that.
  • Cammie · 6 months ago
i could never imagine when his death would come, it seemed that he would live forever..but now his music and soul still live on. you did a great job on the video and i agree with you 100%..it kind of made me cry<3
im going to miss him so much..as well as the millions of fans that he has.
  • poetknowitt · 6 months ago
i grew up listening to michael Jackson during a time where all my friends were listening to heavy metal. This was the late 80's and at that time and whenever I listened to his music my friends thought I was nuts. I learned to do the wave/robot about the same time he was doing it and picked up the fun moonwalk that he was so famous for. Many nights dancing around my bedroom and singing his songs, while my freinds I am sure were sitting at home with an air guitar and head banging with their long hair to ozzy, or twisted sister. Now dont get me wrong...I had the long hair and enjoyed head banging myself, but nothing gave me more enjoyment than to bust a move listening to an awesome beat with Mr Jackson doing what he did best! He will be missed!

    Hey David,

I was shocked to hear about his death today. I thought that it was a hoax until i checked at least 6 different news sites. It's truly a shame that he's passed on especially with so many negative things have been said about him. It's sad to see him go in such a way you know? I hope he's resting peacefully nevertheless.

  • Tyler Panlilio · 6 months ago
It's very sad how I can't wrap my mind that Michael Jackson passed away. To me, i never really thought about Michael until he died, which is taking a big downfall in my life. I guess people didn't really realize that he made a such a big difference in music. And yes i agree with you about the media, They just changed everything in any way they can. Also, i thought about all those people who treated him with hatred, and how popular he is, i watched videos about him and his death...Sad to say this but people leave comments about Michael, and they say "Little boys will be safe now" and "Hooray!! That stupid Molester is gone!!" along those lines..And i just think to myself..BS..They don't get how Michael is treated, and they hate just because if a popular celebrity does something wrong, they feel like they have the right to force hatred and mean comments, even in the worst times, like now. It's so sad..there's More and more and MORE comments that are very hurtful to Michael, yet He's dead! What the hell...So he's still being hated and despised when he's already passed away..that's just wrong..They don't know that Michael had feelings for himself, and he knows that people hate him, yet..all he can do is nothing. If you think of how many of comments he would get, and if Michael read all those comments, all those stupid words that don't need to be said, rather just don't say it..I can't even imagine how sad and angry he would be..Yet..by the next day...More and more..one by one, Hateful words will be said by people..Yes, TMZ sucks. It's funny how I'm still very, very young and yet i love to listen to the Jackson 5 on my i Pod..i don't even hate Michael..And there we go again, haters. I may be wrong but i bet that most of those people who spread hatred to Michael are just 10, 11, 12 year olds, who probably don't even know the History of Michael, and what he has done in this world, and they swear and say stuff that their friends say, because a lot of my friends would always be making fun of him, just because he molests children which i don't believe, and never will..I guess I am just as sad as you David..
  • bp · 6 months ago
regardless of what you think david, i gotta be honest and say nobody knew mj as well as he did (an obvious, but relevant statement).
no one can really say for sure what he did with those kids, why paid people to keep the molestation charges quiet, or why he became obsessed with cosmetic surgery, so, unlike you, i still remain skeptical about a lot of his personal life. there are just a lot of dark areas that remain explored and left to questioning.
but i do agree with you, when you say that he was an amazing singer and dancer. the kind of spirit and energy he brought to the stage when he was performing was and will always be unparalleled and one of a kind. i can't say i knew him as a person, but when i think of legends in music, he's definitely one of those people that top my list.

and as to the portrayal of celebrities as products, i can only say that it's a business. you probably know about it more than i do when i say that celebrities, actors and singers a like, are always trying sell a product--themselves--to the public. they're always trying to create a marketable image for the public. it's sad, but i think sometimes that's the way it ought to be. i feel like the media can rip and tear m.j.'s image all they want, but jackson left himself for himself and his close friends; maybe it was a way to keep him sane and still produce great art.

im just rambling now.. only because i still cannot believe that i won't get to see him live either.
  • misschanto · 6 months ago
Your words are true David. Michael Jackson was the probably the best entertainer and easily the most recognizable artist across the world. It saddens me that he died at such a young age. And you're right about everything you said and wrote. It's ashame that the media was not kind to him at all these past years. There was so much slandering of his name and even musicians, rappers had a laugh or spit a lyric that was at his expense. I hope those that spoke ill of him or prejudged him realize that although he was famous, he was still a human being. I guess people forget that and that's what's so sad. It seems that when you've reached the top, people are always trying to bring you down. Michael is and always will be the king of pop. His legacy will live on and so will his music. No one can ever compare. <3 I still can't believe it..

It's late when I'm posting this but The whole michael jackson thing hit me hard right now. I knew about it and was fine till I started to watch video and listen to his music. I remember when my Mom was A huge fan of his when I was growing up and I liked it to since i was with my mom when she listen to him. Thinking about this also made me sad that my mom was taken from me at a young age as well. I hope that my mom can meet with michael in heaven.

    david,

i thought that u were different from all these internet kids, posting their videos, in which they cry and talk about stuff others really doesn't care about..

but i have to assert that u are like all of these: influenced by YOUTUBE! your whole fu**in' life is based on it! posting videos day for day. at night you think about what to post the next day? david, do you have a real-life?!

and now you start to post your feelings in a youtube video?! till yesterday i really thought that you're are different and man, i really like your music.. but now i have to see that you never can stop to post your videos! and i swear you will end like aaaall the others..

    that's awkward..

p.s. sorry for my bad english (i'm from germany)
  • misschanto · 6 months ago
I'm sorry but what are you talking about?! A musical genius, the king of pop, a legend has just passed and you're yapping about David expressing his feelings? What's wrong with that? David has a big heart and what he has to say IS important. If people didn't care, they would choose not to read or listen, but obviously you do since you replied. Everybody has a life just like everybody has their own opinions and feelings! David has many supporters and people will listen. Who knows, what he has to say may affect how one feels or make them realize something they never did. I'm sorry but I think your comment was cold and unnecessary.
  • Christine Pyo · 6 months ago
a lot of ppl do care what he has to say. and i really appreciate that he puts up videos pretty often cuz it takes a lot of time recording and editting to post.
also its obvious that he does have a life bc he has vids on his talk channel with him chillin with friends. he just chooses to document, which is pretty smart cuz he can look back on good memories at any time.

and i dont mean to start anything i just dont think you should be hatin on him.
  • David Choi · 6 months ago
Your English isn't bad, don't worry about it.

You see, I DON'T care what others think of me, that's why I post whatever I want, and whenever I want. Yes, I am influenced by YouTube because it changed my life. In fact, you probably wouldn't have found me if it wasn't for YouTube. To answer your question, honestly, sometimes I don't have a "real-life" because I spend a lot of time on the Internet. It's 2009...a lot of people spend time on the Internet.

I usually don't think about what I should post the next day, which explains why I never looked prepared...because I'm not.

Yes, I post feelings and thoughts about issues that I feel like talking about. Thanks for your concern though!

If I "end", then oh well. Life goes on :)

    Take care!
  • misschanto · 6 months ago
I'm with Christine.. Sorry I don't mean to start anything too David, it just angers me when something tragic just happened and someone focuses on the most irrelevant things. I understand he has his own opinion but he does not need to spread his negativity when all you're trying to do is vent.

Let's not forget what this is really about.. the late Michael Jackson. Rest in Peace. You will never be forgotten..
  • Vanessa A. Rivera · 6 months ago
ok i dunno if my comment posted or not >.< sorry if this repeats and stuff
    but yea>>>

Ok so.. i saw your video on youtube and i think if i left a comment, it would've been too long, and i would have just started sounding like i was rambling, so i decided to write my own blog about it..

but if its any consolation, im right on the same page there with you..

it'd be really cool if you gave it a read. it'd mean a lot to me to just be heard, y'know?
when all this deeply affects a person, it's always good to share insight.

also, as a formality, i love your work. im not trying to be a kiss-ass or piss you off. im just keeping it real, like everything should be.

It really isn't fair..... he passed away at such a young age and he should've been able to just enjoy life and not worry and feel pressure from everyone else. He won't have a chance to see his kids grow up, graduate, get married etc. It's annoying how some people who made fun of him and spoke negatively of him are all of a sudden acting all positive about him and mourning him now. He will be truly missed. Wow I can't process this through my head... it's so surreal. This can't be happening...

I came across this, on your YouTube Account, and I just had to let you know that I agree with you. I received the news today through a text message, and honestly thought it was a terrible joke. Then my mom tells me to turn on the news, and really there wasn't a channel that didn't go by with the title "Michael Jackson is Dead" and really, I just couldn't come to grounds with believing it. I still don't believe it. It feels like this is a sick joke. That he'll come back, powered up, bigger than ever and ready for that tour he was planning. But, it's not the case. I grew up listening to his music. I recall as a kid I'd sing to all his music videos & my mom would attempt to moonwalk haha. Honestly, never in my life have I felt saddened by a celebrities death. It has never fazed me. However, Michael Jackson's death seemed to have struck me quite hard. It actually feels almost like I lost someone close to me. Someone I knew. But, I know, I didn't really know him. It's just, I guess.. I had a really strong connection with his music & I believed that he had an exquisite inner beauty to him, that the media disguised with lies. I turned on the news today, and instead of paying respects, I found that every other channel were saying stupid, cruel things. "Do you think he deserved it for molesting those children?" It's disgusting what has become of humans. In my opinion, I don't think that he did molest those children. He was found innocent, afterall. It is clear to see that the parents of these children merely seeked his money. Little did they know that this would destroy his image & destroy him in turn. Those people who lied, who accused him of something he didn't do, just because they wanted money..... I really don't wish bad things, but I surely do not wish them well. People often have little regard for celebrities. But, wholeheartedly I believe that Michael had a pure heart. He built a place where children could believe in the wonderful. When he was a child, he couldn't believe in the wonderful. It is widely known that he had a terrible childhood. Therefore, I think he really did rejoice in seeing that he could bring happiness to children, and he could have that childhood that he never had. Yes, he has admitted to sleeping with children. But, that is not the same as molesting children, or exposing them to foul things. I believe that his intentions were pure, innocent, and true to his heart. He had a love so strong. It's honestly terrible what the twisted world could do to a pure heart. It's sickening how the "newer" generations don't have any respect for this amazing, talented, artist. Hah, & I'm only 17. I heard in the news today, this man said "Clearly he had mental issues, afterall he is known for all those plastic surgeries, and c'mon, he bleached his damn skin. It was expected that he'd end this way. Just another Elvis." This honestly made me so angry. How could someone find it within themselves to bring out the worse in someone who has just died? You know it went rumored that he did it because of a skin disease, or something of the sort. But, let's say that it wasn't because of a skin disease. THINK. Who are we to judge? Perhaps he did have issues. Self esteem issues. He may have found it difficult for him to be a black man at his time, because of all the racism, discrimination, and hatred toward African Americans. It IS tough to not have a childhood, and be told that your race isn't good enough, or your skin color is the "wrong" kind. So what? He probably got all the surgeries, and his skin bleached because it made him feel good. At least then, he didn't have to deal with the hate that a black man would generally have received. Either way, through all his hardships in life he gave the world the most beautiful gifts. Even though the media, and general public turned against him, he gave his heart out. He may have had issues. But that doesn't make him non-human. We all have issues and we all do what we think will cure us from what makes us hurt. If it turns out he died because of medication, I am sure that he did not do it on purpose. I don't see any reason why he'd commit suicide right before his last tour! & if it turns out that someone murdered him, I'll just be pissed off, because I cannot believe anyone would go to that extent. In the end, his true fans will always be faithful. & he will live on through his music
  • Rik Pols · 6 months ago

Hey thanks for posting that youtube video about michael jackson. People need to know what a great person he was and people should stop hating on him. I never really listened to his music and stuff and like if you watch videos about him, it tells you how bad his life was and stuff. It pisses me off how people still just laugh about his death or say he "deserved it" just because of the child molestion crap. And they should get rid of the media, they gossip so much crap. That's why celebreties have stress and do drugs and all these kinda stuff. I hate TMZ too, i hope TMZ gets shut down.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I feel exactly the same way. I'm so thankful that someone as well-known as you is bringing this issue into light. So many people don't understand they are being effed over/brainwashed by the media. I hope by this video posting and even MJ's death that more and more people may try to become more media aware and media independent.

MJ was seriously misunderstood (and to an extent we ALL are) and it is this ignorance of humans... this complete disregard of understanding that leads our race to dark times and dark places. This is why I absolutely hate the news & gossipers. They're all just trying to get the best scoop/the best hook, they don't care about the truth.

David, just like you, I started listening to him when I was young, and just like you, I feel very bad. And there are two reasons to this:

    1) He was a legend, a dance icon and singing icon. His songs, had great effect, because his songs and MV's were not just videos but also art in music.

    2) MOST(Not saying all, because that would be sterotypical) of us made fun of him, for either accusing him of molesting children or because of his skin color, and used him as an insulting tool, for example: "Your as ugly as Michael Jackson." This was mean, harsh, and disusting to do, but now we can't do anything. We can't take back our words, we can't say sorry, we cannot do anything except mourn for Michael Jackson, a music and human icon.
  • Selena · 6 months ago
hii i have a question. i never go through the media stuff like i dont give a crap about the media so i never hear things about him. i only know his nose is weird and hes pale and he like bleached his skin? and hes just physically diff than before. and i only know that he was amazing. those are the things i hear about him and how he was a child molester. i dont really care about celebrities and their lives cuz they dont really effect me in any way. so ive never gossiped about him either.
my question is how do YOU know that he DIDNT do the whole child molesting? its not like you were his friend. i'm just curious cuz idk how TMZ works.. or any media of the sort.
ive never really listened to his music nor seen his dancing or watever until i found out he died and mancouch on xanga posted an entry about how he was in the past and how influential he was to hte world.
you've made a really good point. although the only thing i'm doubting is how you knew he isnt liek wat the media says.
"To have to listen to and read rumors that aren’t true." howd you know they arent true? is it just cuz you were such a huge fan? was the media ever proven wrong about him?

i definitely agree to you about TMZ. i hate hypocrites that dont even try to not be one. everybody is a hypocrite.. thats wat humans are and thats just a sinful nature humans have. just like you said, "The thing that sets you apart is that you’re a person who tries not to be as opposed to a person that doesn’t care. We should all try to achieve more in ourselves and become better people in all aspects of life."

yaa i totally relate to you.. you're not the only one that thinks that way :]
sorry if i rambled im just really filled iwth alot of thoughts too and it frustrates me =/
  • Selena · 6 months ago
eh i just read through my previous and it didnt make sense at all -__- so heres a redo lol:

I am not a fan of him; ive never listened to his music so im not feeling sad about it like you i guess cuz he was never influential, inspirational, or impacting to me in my life. so his death doesn't necessarily bother me.

it would, however, if the "rumors" ARENT true. cuz i dont even know if they were true or not.

if they were true then i wouldnt necessarily care but if they werent true and the media is acting retarded as always then i will support him and defend him because thats just insanely wrong how ppl acted like that.

i want to know how to react to all this becuase a billion of my friends are talking about it and i just don tknow how to react. I want to know where to take my stand so here is my question: were all the rumors true about child molesting and anything else i dont know?

if there was anything you didn't understand please ask cuz i dont really know if i made sense hahah and i dont want any misunderstandings

i really admire how passionate you are about it though. it kinda makes me regret that ive never listened to him back then... nor watch any videos... it was thoughtful of you to share your thoughts. the internet needs more ppl like you -_-

He was accused twice for child molestation:

On January 1, 1994, Jackson settled with the Chandler family and their legal team out of court, in a civil lawsuit for $22 million. After the settlement Jordan Chandler refused to continue with Police criminal proceedings. Jackson was never charged, and the state closed its criminal investigation, citing lack of evidence.

    The second one:
The People v. Jackson trial began in Santa Maria, California, two years after Jackson was originally charged. Jackson's friend Elizabeth Taylor defended him on Larry King Live, saying that she had been there when they "were in the bed, watching television. There was nothing abnormal about it. There was no touchy-feely going on. We laughed like children and we watched a lot of Walt Disney. There was nothing odd about it." During the investigation, Jackson's profile was examined by mental health professional Dr. Stan Katz; the doctor spent several hours with the accuser too. The assessment made by Katz was that Jackson had become a regressed 10-year-old and did not fit the profile of a pedophile The trial lasted five months, until the end of May 2005, he was acquitted on all counts

I think the media turned his image into a pedophile when he was innocent. You should look it up and judge for yourself.

    Hi David..
I checked out the video links.. they're actually clips taken out of "michael jackson's private home movies". You should youtube search that.
I watched a whole bunch of them today.

that's the first of a series of them. check it out. (: it was very sad watching them but it was also nice for MJ to share that side of him with us. Please watch (:

I would never have thought that I would cry for the death of a person I do not know personally. I cried when I saw video tributes in youtube for the King of Pop and I cried because for the all the years that I have been in this world, his song was always with me since the day that I was born.

I literally grew up with his songs and image. I have been hit straight to my brain by rumors that have been circulating here and there about how bad he was and how people think he's just a lame piece of crap.

For the 17 years I have been in this world, MJ has been with me my whole life. I adore his songs and I despise the times that I almost believed how bad he was even when you think straightly, HE IS A GREAT MAN.

Just my ramblings about your post and HE WILL LIVE ON. I KNOW HE WILL. :D
  • nep · 6 months ago
he's already dead. that's the exact reason why choi is rambling
  • Elliot.C.W · 6 months ago
Along with blaming the media for his deterioration, I'd say the rough childhood he endured was also a prime factor in the cause of it. All his life he'd been in the spotlight, and speaking to Oprah back in like 2001, he said about how he saw all the kids playing and wished he could be there too. And that's why his song Ben (which you covered) means so much to me, because it seems that Ben was his only friend and, that deeply saddens me.

I never thought he molested kids, I think he was just misunderstood. He never really had friends so that's why he found comfort in being around children and when they took Neverland away from him, I think that's when he really became the "wacko" people began to associate him as.

Anyway I'm just blabbing on, and I'm only 14 so..What would I know?

His music has been almost an instrumental throughout my life.

    ECW.

Just because someone is a great musician, does not make them a great person. Like any rumour out there, there is some truth behind it. You're just living in ignorance. I had so much respect for you until you came out with this post/video. Michael Jackson's team of lawyer's and the child's family made financial negotiations to "settle" the matter. Why would someone make financial negotiations to "settle" the matter if he's 100% innocent? It doesn't make any logical sense. Even his own sister (La Toya Jackson) accused him of being a pedophile. Please get your head out the clouds and face reality.

    David,
I totally agree. When he passed away, I couldn't believe it either. Well that is until, I saw the news and I seriously started crying. Even though I'm not a musician, I really loved his music. It hurt to see him explain everything that the media accused him of, and people just don't ever look at the positive things that he's done. He's donated to over 35 charities, to help children and even for HIV/AID foundations, and co-written a song with Lionel Richie, "We Are The World" song. Then the court trials dealing with child molestion, skin color etc, people turned the other way and many refused to even hear what he has to say. He was an extraordinary person and a legend in music. I'm sad that he passed already , but happy that he can finally be in a place where he can find peace. RIP MJ. T^T

    Hello David.

Many many thanks for showing how much you have appreciated Michael Jackson.
I trully share your opinions about how Michael has been abused and badly treated by media.
I have so many good memories about Michael at the peak of his good fame.
    What went wrong ???
I was trully shocked and could not believe that Michael has passed away when I heard the news on friday morning.
Anyway I sincerely hope that his name will not be disgraced anymore and hope that the media will leave him to REST IN PEACE.
He trully was The Only King Of Pop.
Best of luck for the future to you David......You have a very good singing voice.

I agree there! I was only born a year before his unveiled moonwalk on Motown 25, everything he did I loved and LOVE forever. Media was shit to him, he was a painfully shy and caring person, although on stage u would never say that!! I wrote about it on my facebook and talk about everything. MJ was and always will be the best!!

totally agree with you with everything you said...i still don't understand why the media tried to destroy the life of a man who gave over $300 million to charities!

You see as the media properly.
The guy gave 300 million to charity,
then you do what they did to him.
And I loved the Michael Jackson and his music and dance, much of the time.
    abraço brother is at peace!

I'm still in shock, Michael Jackson has just always been there for me, he was the shining star that would never fade out and now that he's gone it feels like the world has changed. I will miss him tremendously, what will happen after this? Is there anything after MJ?

I completely agree with you and he definitely didn't deserve to leave the world this way. He was, is and forever will be the one and only king of pop!!!
  • Fenek · 5 months ago
Will the world ever see the likes again? That voice, immense talent and an amazing drive to love and be loved. What a truly poetic and Shakespearean life he had.
I wish I could understand the necessity so many people feel to always hate and destroy.
Michael meant a lot to me, and I will always celebrate him in my heart.
    He was a TRUE artist.
Thank you for posting those links, I had completely forgotten about all those funny little moments. And they linked to so many other positive and sweet videos of him. It was good to see. :]

It's such a strange feeling...it's like I've lost my brother.

The greatest thing this has taught me, is that we should never feel ashamed to love anything or anyone. If we love, it must be with an open heart.

    No apologies. No regrets.

Hey David, I'm a great fan of your music... and this was just inspiring. My cousins introduced me to his music at a young age as well. I was exposed to his dancing and his music, and I've honestly been a fan since. In fact, I'm actually one of the few people amongst my friends who enjoys his Invincible album. You are absolutely right about your thoughts. Prayers and respect to Michael Jackson and his family. Thank you for this post and video.

Hey David, I agree with everything you said and just like everyone else I am sadden by his death. It really sucks that people don't know what/ who they have til it's gone. And it was such a bad day for me too since it was my bday June 25th :/

But Keep up the good work with your music! You inspired me to pick up on piano again :]

    Hi David,

I am not good in writing to put forth my feelings about Michael's departure. What you have said is exactly my true feelings about this whole incident. Even till now, people are still digging up his past (homo sexual life, addiction to drugs etc...) to talk about and most importantly to get attention from the public...why can't they just let it go...he is already gone...

I grew up with his music...I am now 36 and a mother of 2...remembering when I was at the age of 11, I saved my pocket money to buy his Billy Jeans cassette tape and will secretly played it on my elder brother walkman hiding in his closet...it was so much joy listening to his music....

I remembered Michael came to Singapore for concert when I was 17. Still a student, I don't have much money then but still managed to save up for his concert tickets, the cheaper ones by the grandstand in our National Stadium. As it was a free seating ticket...my friends and I went to queue up as early as 11am (concert starts at 7pm) to get a better seat. It was a very hot day and we ended up getting sunburn all over. It was worth it....Michael was awesome...we went crazy and no one was sitting down...everyone was standing and dancing to his music....what a night!

I am in a denial state...sometimes silly thoughts came into my mind...I am still thinking that his death news is a hoax...maybe when I wake up one day I get to read the newspaper headlines " Michael is alive"...

I am very sad that he left the world this way.....I cried while watching his MV "Heal the World" and "One day in your life" on Youtube....I cried so badly....

My wife was a fan of MIchael ever since she was 3 years old. She took it very hard, and says she feels the same way you do. She also, told me to embed her video tribute she made.

    <object width="445" height="364"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/noAQPzgTOZE&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/noAQPzgTOZE&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&border=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="445" height="364"></embed></object>

She says, "This is the way Michael's fans newly devolped and always loyal fans, should remember him, and forget what the people say. They did it while he was alive, and they will NOT stop, all we can do is remember him. Know that where ever he is, he is now at peace." Gotta go, man! Thanks!

I totally agree with you. The media is so stupid sometimes it makes me want to break something. (okay maybe not that far :P)
It hurts me to see all these people writing immature stuff like
"oh yeah its so good hes dead now! his kids are happy! F*** that molester! he can molest satan!"
I mean...WHAT.THE.HELL! Firstly, they don't even have reasons to say that about him. they see all over the place that he's a molester and they believe it! the media and those followers love to spill hate all over the place! if you dont like his music, fine. if you dont want him on the news, fine but he was an awesome singer and dancer whether you believe it or not. people might not like elvis and you dont see them saying all these things. its only because michael was a victim of conspiracy. its because he was more famous thats why. but dont say hateful things about him. if i was related to him i'd be really mad if i saw people writing that. Just because a gossip column has its own magazine or show, does not mean it's accurate. I keep telling people to read the whole case with themolestation and they refuse to listen. they always say well he paid the family. i wont go into more detail about that because it just pisses me off. but whatever, people have choices. i'm sure that it's not going to make them better people for wanting to believe bad and the gossip and hate someone for stupid reasons.
i will always love his music since i was just a little kid. I've always had it in my mind somewhere.
Its nice to know some intelligent people out there really understand his case. they understand what the families wanted from him and that every other kid did not say he was a molester. that its obvious that his ex-workers would talk smack about him.

anyways, i'm also part korean :)
    lmao.

Well, if you still hate michael jackson, that's your own problem. don't take it out on people who care. he was a MAJOR icon so dont act like it's stupid that hes on the news all the time. its not like a small celebrity died. he was huge. he broke records. so calm down. yeah we can talk about "more important issues" but ithink we're just giving him the smallest respect he deserved.

plus the media wants to make more money off of him. >:O
  • nikkiishere · 5 months ago
I'm part korean david :P lol
anyways back to michael jackson. if it's not obvious already that he's innocent, *sick of the haters. they're stupid. then just leave him alone when hes dead.
i recommend the books written about his cases and the videos that prove his innocence. but people choose to be immature and write hateful comments like
"YEAH THAT MOTHER F***ER IS DEAD NOW! HE CAN MOLEST SATAN IN HELL!"
from my own personal beliefs, i just know Michael's in Heaven...I can't picture that man in hell. it's like a puppy in prison. because he had a fondness for children, and he had a pure soul, people thought he was a molester.
if you can't wake up to the facts that the families that accused him were already locos, & no other kid said he was a molester, & his ex-workers that were pissed at him said BS about him when it's fake and they admitted it, that hthe people who thought he was guilty are lousy reporters and nobody hears about them anymore, that Martin Bashir took out a lot of scenes in his show Living with Michael Jackson, then you really don't have a reason to act like you're so smart. i wont go into any more details about his case, if you want to know the whole thing, do the research yourself by a site that's unbiased or reliable.

anyways, when i was about 3 i started to hear his music. i liekd it. it was fixed into my brain in a way. i will always support michael.
those hateful people out there waste their breath. they think they're so kind for hating a "pedophile" when they have no right to. no reason. nothing else to do in their life. i'm so happy that he has more fans that haters (at least from what i've seen.) it makes me happy that at least he didn't die a person that everyone wanted to get rid of.
he paid a price. a price to be famous and the most beloved man. and i guess it was his sanity? the media made him into a "monster." if he cries in an interview, he's not a wimp. hes a person. he's expressing his feelings unlike some who don't have any at all. as a human being, he showed that it was stressing himself out. he just wanted good for kids & people slapped him in the face for it. he couldn't eat anymore at restaurants so if he's skinny, stop taking pictures of him sipping a latte! his kids will know the truth. his family does too. if you took the time to watch his memorial, you'll know why he's always on tv. the WORLD lost an icon. so if you dont like him, that's your own problem. you actually helped this. you made him so depressed his heart just gave out. someone is responsible for this.
God had a better plan for him. he said his work is done and took him away.
let's hope he died the quickest way possible, without as much pain.
he never hurt his kids, and his kids are very lucky to have had a dad like him. they should be very proud. i'm sure they're goin through unbelievable pain. perhaps when they grow older they will have shelter. i'd like to personally tell them that their father was amazing. im sure they know. if the media hurt my dad like they did to theirs, i'd be very upset.

regardless of what anyone says, michael jackson WILL live on forever. in many people's hearts. and that is what matters. those who oppose have no life. hating won't make you a better person.

I pray for his family and fans and friends. Michael is among legends now though. He and Elvis can be the kings up there. I know michael loved michellangelo so he can finally ask him what inspired him.
Michael can moonwalk on the moon for eternity.
he knows that at least I will love him.

    God Bless Ya Michael.
    God Bless the Good.
    God Bless.

i saw one of his interviews the media is sick. I mean they would go to the hotel he was staying at before he got there. They would put automatic cameras in places like under the toilet under the bad in the cielling. They even put a motion activated video camera behind an airvent in the ceiling. This was right after he married Lisa. You know that is such an invasion of privacy for anybody not just Michael. Rest in peace Michael you deserve it after all the shit people put you through. I love you.
